Since 1978, Lake Arrowhead Christian School has successfully prepared students for service and leadership. Dedicated to our foundational purpose of building Christian character, LACS is committed to the academic and spiritual development of each student. Here at LACS, students are given the opportunity to safely grow in wisdom and knowledge surrounded by accepting, loving and caring individuals. Together we seek to Honor our Savior by integrating faith and learning while our hearts and lives reflect the process of maturing in Him.

 

Unlike many other schools, we provide our students with a top-tier, Christian education where Christian values are taught throughout our academic programs and extra-curricular activities. Therefore as Christian educators, we feel there should be harmony between what is taught in the home, in our churches and in our school. As such, we strive to honor the Lord Jesus in all that we do.

Non-Denominational  ___________________________________________________________________________

LACS is a non-denominational, K-12 Evangelical Christian school with many churches represented in our student body.  As such, Lake Arrowhead Christian School welcomes every Christian family seeking a superior education for their student. We realize that it is impossible to create a statement of faith that is totally acceptable to everyone. Nevertheless, when families join Lake Arrowhead Christian School, we expect them to share our convictions, as articulated in What We Believe.

The superior academic quality of Lake Arrowhead Christian School has been recognized by WASC, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Unique among many private Christian schools, LACS has received full accreditation which extends from Kindergarten through High School (K-12). In turn, graduates from Lake Arrowhead Christian are recognized by most public and private schools and colleges nationwide. WASC accreditation assures you that the value of your student’s education is never in question.

College Preparatory ___________________________________________________________________________   

Students at LACS have long been recognized for their academic achievements. Over 95% of our graduates continue forward into college after leaving LACS. In fact, nearly all of our graduates have been able to gain admission into the college or university of their first choice.  Moreover, our students are thoroughly tested on the material covered in the Stanford Achievement Test (SAT). As such, over the last three years, 92% of our students have scored above their grade level. Even more impressive, our graduates have applied the skills obtained at LACS and gone on to become teachers, attorneys, medical professionals, nuclear physicist, church leaders and industry professionals.

Although Lake Arrowhead Christian School is a smaller private school, we still provide rewarding extra-curricular activities for our students. Furthermore, LACS offers an impressive line-up of educational field trips that allow our students to explore and investigate the wonders of God's creation for themselves. We're also extremely pleased to offer highly competitive & established athletic programs that are sanctioned by the CIF, the California Interscholastic Federation.

  • Snow Board and Ski Trips to Mammoth, CA
  • Senior Class Excursion to Honolulu, Hawaii
